Growing up in the Malibu Mountains allowed me to be surrounded by creeks, waterfalls, hiking trails, incredible scenery and wildlife. Each day was a magical experience. Moving to the Eastern Sierra in 1974 was magic as well; it felt like home to me. The Sierra mountain range is nothing short of miraculous.  The endless beauty, outdoor recreation and natural wonders are a constant lesson in geology and ecology.

I began my career in property management/hospitality in 1976. I was part of an on-site management team for a large condominium complex in Mammoth. Daily tasks were taking reservations, helping guests and overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities and operations of the property. I found this type of work suited me well and decided to make property management and nightly rentals my career. I have been doing this for well over 40 years and still love it.

Some of the positions I have held over the past many years have been developing one of the most successful nightly rental companies in Mammoth. We started with 3 properties and quickly grew the business to over 60 properties in just a short time. Eventually, the business grew to well over 120 rental properties. In 1998 I joined the Resort Operations division of the Intrawest Corporation and helped open Juniper Springs Lodge and Sunstone.  I was the first Owner Relations Manager, overseeing 300 rental units and was the key communicator with the owners.  In 2001, I was invited by Intrawest to be part of the opening team at The Village at Squaw Valley. My position was the Reservations/Revenue Manager.  Eventually, I went on to become the Executive Director of Housekeeping for Northstar at Tahoe. This was a BIG job.  I had a large staff of over 40 people and 200 properties to manage, which included single-family homes, condominiums and hotel rooms.

In 2007, I came back to where my heart is and will always be, the Eastern Sierra.  I joined the nightly rental company I had helped establish earlier in my career and worked there until the business was sold in 2017 to Vacasa. I was hired by Vacasa as their new General Manager for Mammoth. In December 2017, I oversaw the acquisition of June Lake Village Vacations by Vacasa and became the Local Operations Manager for Vacasa in June Lake, managing 20 properties, communicating with the owners and overseeing housekeeping.  Currently, I am starting a new journey with amazing people and feel I will bring a wealth of experience to June Lake Premier Reservations.

I am a licensed California Realtor and I pride myself in being a true professional, a quick problem solver, and a seasoned communicator.  I see our owners as business partners and believe in honest and open communication.  I also believe in “old fashioned” hospitality. Being present for our owners and guests 24/7 and of service is crucial to operating a successful business. I look forward to this new chapter in my life.

Growing up in June Lake, I am deeply rooted in the community and its growth. After attending the University of Nevada, I came home to June Lake and began managing our family motel, the Whispering Pines.  More than 20 years of hospitality service in this resort town provides me a unique perspective and experience.

I moved to Palm Desert accepting the position of supervising the Parks and Recreation department.  Under my management, we built an Olympic Aquatic Facility and created Concerts in the Parks and the Palm Desert Century.  I like to think big!

But my heart is always in June Lake where I continue to manage the Whispering Pines, June Lake Properties Rentals and June Real Estate where I am an active REALTOR.

I bring years of June Lake hospitality, experience, and history to June Lake Premier Reservations, along with progressive and sound business experiences centered around service industries and customer relations.

Hello my name is Billy the guest relation specialist. From making reservations to checking on the unit before the guest and owner arrivals, I do it all. I love being able to be here for our guests and our owners.

I moved here in July of 2021 my partner and I are a big part of the June Lake community. I work in guest relations and he is GM of food and beverage for June Mountain Ski & Snowboard Resort. When I first moved to this area I fell in love with the beautiful and breathtaking views this small village has to offer but don’t let the size of this place scare you it’s all about the outdoors from skiing in the winter to hiking boating and fishing in the summer we have it all and that is why I love June Lake.

Being able to make your vacation the greatest it can be is my goal. I want you to love June just as much as my family does. I was born and raised in the state of Texas and have lived in various states from Texas to California over the past 15 years. I have worked in customer service and love being able to help other people. I love to travel and get outside from hiking the great outdoors to just spending a quiet  evening in with my family June is the perfect place for that.

“Working for June Lake Premier Reservations gives me an opportunity to meet people enjoying where they have chosen to vacation, and I feel very fortunate to be a part of this community.  We hope to enhance the lives of our guests through the experiences and services we offer to all who want to join us in finding fun and community in the Eastern High Sierra.”

I am an avid skier and enjoy sports in school. Football and Basketball are at the top of my list. I also enjoy getting out into the community and experiencing what we have to offer. There are so many activities from hiking, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, Ice Skating, snowmobiling, rock climbing and water skiing. I would encourage everyone to experience as much of the Sierra’s as possible.
